Pull Endorsement of West Hollywood Mayor John Erickson

This is not just about endorsements; it’s about holding our leaders accountable for their positions on international issues involving Israel and their impact on the Jewish community here in LA.

Voters deserve to know where their candidates stand on matters as critical as this.

West Hollywood Mayor John Erickson recently filed a complaint against the only Jewish (and proudly Israeli by birth) candidate in their council race, accompanied by a video file with audio referencing an Israeli-American hostage, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, executed by Hamas.

Yasmine-Imani McMorrin, Fred Puza, and Triston Ezidore have endorsed Erickson, whose actions, along with an intimidatingly worded notice from the City Clerk, amount to a shocking display of discrimination and harassment.

Chelsea Byers, Mayor Erickson’s Vice Mayor, is involved with an organization funding ‘beautiful and creative’ pro-Hamas activism. Meanwhile, Yasmine-Imani McMorrin, Fred Puza, and Triston Ezidore continue to align themselves with these questionable figures.

Culver City deserves leaders who stand firmly against hate and discrimination, not ones who align themselves with it.

Voters need to demand transparency and take a hard look at these affiliations before heading to the polls.

It’s time for Culver City leaders to drop their endorsements of John Erickson and Chelsea Byers, and take a stand against anti-Israel and anti-Jewish sentiment.
