STOP THE JUBILO DEVELOPMENT & politically connected insiders
Culver City faces a $21.7 million deficit, but instead of fixing the problem, the council pours money into pet projects, radical consultant contracts, and shady land deals -- and now they want to use our public tax dollars to build a church.

Bryan "Bubba" Fish Registration Lies
We were just as shocked as anyone to discover that Bryan "Bubba" Fish directly lied about his birthplace and his voter registration. He says in interviews and as part of his campaign that he is from Texas and has been a lifelong Democrat.
However, on his 2018 California Voter Registration, he entered California as his birthplace and that he has No Party Preference. Why would Bryan "Bubba" Fish lie?

Exposing the True Nature of 'Our Culver': A Political Tool for SEIU-UHW
Exposing the True Nature of 'Our Culver': A Political Tool for SEIU-UHW
Let’s set the record straight—the newly sprouted advocacy group, "Our Culver", is not a grassroots movement rising from the people of Culver City. It’s a front for SEIU-UHW, orchestrated by a small group of individuals intent on manipulating local politics. Greg Maron, a high-level executive for SEIU, Stephen Jones, a sitting Planning Commissioner for Culver City, and Alex Fisch, a former Councilmember -- run off after just one term -- are the key players leading this effort, whose donations to "Our Culver" account for half of their funding.
These individuals, along with their well-known friends from within Culver City Democratic Club (CCDC) and SEIU, are currently driving a campaign to control the city. SEIU-UHW has directly donated over $25,000 in the last four years through individuals and a PAC to Fisch, Fish, Lee, McMorrin, Puza, and CCDC, essentially funding the leftist slate. In 2022 alone, SEIU-UHW spent almost $500,000 here in Culver City to fund a signature harvest campaign to put a measure on our local ballot.

Sameen Ahmadnia's Campaign Violates 10DLC and FPPC Rules
Sameen Ahmadnia’s campaign has violated both the 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) compliance required for sending text messages and the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) rules concerning campaign contributions.
FPPC rules are designed to ensure transparency in campaign financing by requiring timely disclosure of contributions, which allows voters to see who is financially supporting candidates, and who is sending them communications. The 10DLC rules regulate how organizations must manage text message campaigns, ensuring transparency and legal compliance.
Unfortunately, Sameen Ahmadnia’s campaign has failed to adhere to the rules of both the 10DLC compliance and the FPPC. This not only demonstrates a disregard for the law but also misleads voters.

In 2020, Bryan "Bubba" Fish stoked fear about the supposed dangers of shared bus and bike lanes in Downtown Culver City. He argued that they posed risks, especially for families and children. Fast forward to 2023, Fish sued the city alongside McMorrin and Barba to block the voter-approved expansion of these lanes. In 2024, the lawsuit was lost, and the city went on record confirming there had been zero collisions between buses and bikes during the almost three years of operation.
The data simply didn’t back up the fear.

Council Member Yasmine-Imani McMorrin Consistently Votes Against Public Safety
Yasmine-Imani McMorrin's Voting Record on Police-Related Issues in Culver City (2021-2024)
Council Member Yasmine-Imani McMorrin has consistently voted against public safety measures and adequate funding for the police in Culver City. It is worth noting that these requests from the police not only help keep the community safe, but also help keep the police officers safe.
Over the last four years, even as local crime rates remained significant in the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS), McMorrin cast 14 key votes rejecting requests for police funding, additional staffing, and law enforcement resources. Her arguments are typically emotional pleas not backed up by supporting evidence for the Council and Staff to consider.
