Improvements Coming to Downtown Transportation

It’s been a few years of an ugly and clogged downtown with small independent businesses losing income and tragically some being forced to leave.

The changes happening now will return a traffic lane to its former use.

The shared bus and bike lanes will get extended to the east.

It remains shocking that Yasmine-Imani McMorrin and Fred Puza voted against the wishes of over 80% of their constituents who wanted the changes that started today.

It also is disturbing and wrong that Yasmine-Imani McMorrin, Bryan "Bubba" Fish, and Nancy Barba unnecessarily spent $200,000 of taxpayer funds to try to prevent these much needed changes by abusing the court system.

That was a bogus lawsuit and had zero evidence.

Nevertheless, the people prevailed!

Good job, Albert Vera, Dan O’Brien, and Göran Eriksson!

You delivered on what the residents voted for. You three even made this climate-focused experiment have greater impact with an improved design overall and an extension to the east.
