Bryan "Bubba" Fish Criticizes Culver City For Creating Shared Bus/Bike Lanes

Advocates like Michael Schneider from ‘Streets for All’ and Bryan 'Bubba' Fish from LA County Transportation are vocal about their support for shared bus and bike lanes, frequently praising these lanes in other cities on social media.

However, they continue to criticize Culver City, even as the city actively extends its shared bus/bike lanes eastward to improve transportation options.

The irony runs deep.

Bryan 'Bubba' Fish, a current candidate for City Council, and former employee of ‘Streets For All’, recently sued Culver City to prevent these bus/bike lane improvements.

Along with Yasmine-Imani McMorrin and Nancy Barba, who are also named in the lawsuit, they cost taxpayers $200,000.

Bryan 'Bubba' Fish, along with McMorrin and Barba, actively requested the court to delay action on a crucial public works project, citing the upcoming election as the reason. This dubious tactic reveals more about their priorities than their commitment to community needs. Despite Fish losing the lawsuit, he continues to oppose the city’s efforts—even as 85% of surveyed residents have expressed a desire for traffic changes to improve safety and efficiency.

Now, while campaigning, he continues to complain about the very changes that align with the values he and ‘Streets For All’ claim to support.

Voters should be aware of these facts and consider the implications of such contradictions in the values of Bryan 'Bubba' Fish, Nancy Barba, and Yasmine-Imani McMorrin.
